ABOUT ME – GITTA WRIGHT

I grew up in Germany and lived most of my adult life in Switzerland. In 1996 I came to Australia to study for a Postgraduate Diploma in Physiotherapy. I fell in love with the beautiful Australian landscape and the relaxed lifestyle and decided to apply for residency.

Since 2003 I have permanently settled in Australia. My work in various rehabilitation clinics in Switzerland  has provided me with a wide range of experience in the different fields of rehabilitation. My original overseas-qualification as a ‘Physiotherapeut’  is not recognised in Australia.

Since February 2004 I have been working as a Soft Tissue Therapist and Personal Trainer in Perth. As a member of the Australian Traditional Medicine Society (ATMS), I am recognised for Remedial Massage Therapy. Health Fund contributions are therefore available from most funds.

My philosophy is simple – Get the client better

Many roads lead to a better health if one keeps an open mind. My main focus is to combine whatever technique and advice is necessary to benefit my clients’ condition. In recent years I have developed a very unique approach to improve the well-being of my clients and my original education and training now only serve me as a background knowledge. Natural remedies and a holistic approach are currently the main focus of my work.
